About

I’ll start with the corporate introduction line: I am a marketing communications strategist based in New York City.

While that line is true, it falls short in capturing the essence of who I am. I am a human being, a family member, the grandson of immigrants, a proud Borícua, an advocate for justice, a digital citizen of the world, a cat owner, a millennial, a singer, a change-maker. Above all, I’m a person with a story.

And I believe everyone has a story to tell.

Stories are at the heart of the work that I do—I believe storytelling has the power to inspire positive change, spark emotion, and cultivate compassion.

I dare to imagine a world that’s more just and humane than I found it. Imagination meets reality when we make space for authentic narratives to be shared—And with the power of compelling storytelling, the possibilities are endless.

Education

I wouldn’t be who I am today without my education and the school communities I still call home.

I received my M.Ed. in Student Development Administration from Seattle University’s College of Education and completed my undergraduate studies at the University of San Francisco, earning a B.A. in Media Studies

Career

My career has included marketing communications strategy in K-12 and higher education, as well as school administration. Telling real stories backed by metrics-driven decisions and data-proven best practices has been a through-line of my school marketing career.

My professional work aligns best with brands, groups, and organizations that share my core values of community, equity, and mission.
